Courage for In-House Counsel: What In-House Counsel Need to Know To Unmute Themselves, and Elevate Their Confidence, Courage, and Career

Event Description

In-house counsel often feel as though they are the unsung heroes of all organizations. They often the first to be blamed and are forced to take the fall when things go wrong, yet are often are the last to know or have a seat at the business table.

Many In-House Counsel don’t speak up with their thoughts, ideas, insecurities or struggles at work or at home. In-House Counsel don’t ask for the opportunities we want or the help and support we need, which generates burnout and resentment. What if it didn’t have to be that way? How many times have you heard someone say, “You’re on mute!”? What if you were to do the opposite of that and “Unmute yourself”?

In-house counsel must be willing to take a stand on challenging issues, deliver bad news to powerful people, and speak up for what’s right. If not, In-House Counsel won’t be taken seriously in the workplace and in their own lives.

Given this crucial skill, In-House Connect is thrilled to connect you with Rachel Druckenmiller. Rachel is a dynamic keynote speaker and workshop facilitator who teaches leaders and teams how to be resilient and connected by enhancing resilience, wellbeing, and social-emotional skills.

Join us for the next installment of our IHC Advantage Series, as Rachel will teach us how to elevate our courage, confidence and careers by teaching us to:

– Explore the power of curiosity to elevate influence and catalyze growth and trust; and

– Build confidence to advocate for yourself, your needs and your career growth, so you can advance in your career
