Bärí A. Williams , Head of Legal

Bärí is a seasoned GC and business-focused attorney with over 16 years of expertise in technology transactions, privacy, and tech-enabled legal operations. As Head of Legal and Legal Content at LegalOn Technologies, she ensures LegalOn’s AI systems are informed by expert legal knowledge and tailored in-house playbooks.

Before joining LegalOn, Bärí held key roles at Meta (formerly Facebook), where she supported Connectivity Labs and launched the Supplier Diversity Program, and at StubHub, where she led Business Operations Management for North America. She has also played a pivotal role in scaling startups like All Turtles and Human Interest. Beyond her legal career, Bärí is a published author with bylines in the New York Times, WIRED, Fortune, and Fast Company.

Bärí is a graduate of the University of California College of Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) and is admitted to and active with the State Bar of California.

 

Luis Tovar, Senior Legal Operations Manager, FloQast

Luis is a legal operations professional with over nine years of experience supporting attorneys in law firm and in-house environments with a focus on utilizing technology solutions for streamlining legal workflows. Currently a Senior Legal Operations Manager at FloQast, he leads initiatives to optimize contract turnaround times with AI contract review software and AI-driven playbooks.

Previously, he managed legal technology projects at Gensler, enhancing contract management processes and user adoption. His background also includes paralegal experience, focusing on compliance, contract review, and legal data management.

A Chicago native, he enjoys cooking, golfing, weightlifting, collecting vinyl, and spending time with his wife and two cats.


Daniel Lewis, CEO of LegalOn Technologies

Daniel is a recognized leader in advancing legal technology, with 10+ years at the industry’s cutting edge. He is the US CEO of LegalOn Technologies, a global leader in AI contract review trusted by over 6,500 legal teams globally.

Previously, as co-founder and CEO of Ravel Law, Daniel helped pioneer the use of data analytics and visualization to transform legal research.
