Chang-Do is Co-Head of the US M&A practice. He has more than 20 years of experience advising a diverse range of clients, both domestic and international, on their most complex, multijurisdictional M&A deals.

Chang-Do’s experience expands across various industries including energy and infrastructure, healthcare and life science, media and technology.

 

Leigh Oliver

Leigh is Head of the US Antitrust Practice, Co-Head of the Healthcare & Life Sciences Sector and specializes in antitrust issues ranging from bet-the-company merger control matters to state and federal antitrust investigations. She has two decades of experience advising clients in heavily scrutinized industries, including healthcare, life sciences, aerospace and defense and industrials. She regularly represents clients before federal and state antitrust agencies and in merger litigation in federal court.

 

Nelson Jung

Nelson specialises in EU and UK competition law across a wide range of industry sectors.

Nelson rejoined the firm from the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority where he was the Director of Mergers Group. He previously held a number of senior positions at the CMA’s predecessor, the Office of Fair Trading, including Director of Competition Enforcement and Head of Mergers.

Nelson is a member of the core leadership team for the firm’s Tech Group.

 

Dominic Ross

Dominic Ross is a Partner in Clifford Chance’s corporate department specialising in public and private M&A as well as a wide range of board advisory matters, including corporate governance and shareholder activism defence.

Dominic has extensive experience advising corporates and financial sponsors on complex and strategically significant cross-border transactions, with a particular focus on the healthcare, defence and consumer goods and retail sectors.

 

Marina Safonova

Marina Safonova advises publicly and privately held companies and financial sponsors on a wide range of cross-border and US domestic corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, “going private” transactions, carve-outs, joint ventures and minority investments. Marina has experience advising US corporate boards on hostile takeover and stockholder activism defence matters.
