William C. Marra is a Director at Certum Group, where he leads Certum’s litigation finance strategy.
Will is a former U.S. Supreme Court law clerk who graduated magna cum laude from both Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
He co-teaches a course on litigation finance at the University of Pennsylvania’s Carey Law School, and his law review article on litigation funding, The Shadows of Litigation Finance, was published by the Vanderbilt Law Review. He has been recognized by LawDragon as a global leader in litigation finance, and he regularly writes and speaks on funding.
Prior to joining Certum, Will spent several years at another litigation funder, where he managed litigation investments from sourcing and diligence through funding and resolution.
Before that, Will litigated commercial, constitutional, and appellate matters at Cooper & Kirk PLLC in Washington, D.C. He also clerked for Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. of the U.S. Supreme Court and Chief Judge William H. Pryor Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Earlier in his career, Will was a consultant at Bain & Company, where he helped Fortune 500 companies address some of their most pressing business and financial problems.
Kevin Skrzysowski Attorney and Director at Certum Group, FKA Risk Settlements, Kevin utilizes proprietary quantitative and qualitative processes and has more than 20 years of legal and business expertise to help companies and their counsel design optimal litigation risk transfer solutions in order to achieve their legal, business, and financial objectives. A frequent author on litigation risk assessment, my articles have been featured in in Law360, American Lawyer Media, Today’s General Counsel, and the Corporate Counsel Business Journal. He also hosts the podcast, Alternative Litigation Strategies, where he interviews esteemed members of the bar on litigation and settlement trends and strategies. Prior to joining Certum Group, Kevin worked with law firms to design customized business solutions while working at Bloomberg’s Legal Division, Thompson Reuters, and Lexis Nexis.
