Rachael Oakley
Rachael supports US businesses as they expand and grow their global operations. As a labor & employment law specialist, she helps businesses navigate the global legal HR challenges with confidence.
Rachael is based in Osborne Clarke’s San Francisco office. She’s an English and Welsh qualified lawyer and a registered Foreign Legal Consultant in California. She is a Labor & Employment law specialist.
Prior to moving to the West Coast in 2019, she was based in Osborne Clarke’s UK office. She has a wide range of experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters and advises on all aspects of employment law from day-to-day queries, performance management issues, discrimination and grievance cases, dismissal processes, employment documentation and HR data privacy matters.
Olivia Sinfield
Olivia has more than sixteen years’ experience of advising employers and senior executives in the full range of contentious and non- contentious issues arising during the employment life cycle including:-
- Employment Tribunal litigation including high value bonus claims;
- Restrictive covenants and injunctions;
- Restructuring and collective redundancies; and
- Business critical issues including board disputes, change management and discrimination claims.
Olivia leads a team of employment lawyers specialising in ‘GDPR for HR’ advice and runs the ‘GDPR for HR’ client network group. This involves advising in respect of all data protection issues impacting on HR including employee data breach, employment related DSAR’s (for which we offer a bespoke service) and employee surveillance and monitoring issues. She presents regularly on employment related privacy issues.
Olivia regularly works alongside our Workforce Solutions team to provide holistic advice and practical solutions to any business involved in the supply of people based resourcing solutions.
Mikael Nelson
Mikael is a corporate finance partner in Osborne Clarke’s Stockholm office, with a focus on equity financings, financing arrangements (e.g. corporate lending, venture debt, acquisition finance and real estate financing), M&A and technology transactions.
Mikael advises sponsors, banks, financial institutions, corporates and management teams on a wide range of corporate and financing matters and represents companies at all stages of their development, whether they be start-ups, high growth businesses, global technology companies or large multinationals.
Mikael is active across the firms key technology verticals and transformation horizontals and has particular experience of the tech, media and comms, financial services and workforce solutions sectors.
