Heather Wooley Bio:

Heather Woolley (they/them) is an Axiom labor and employment lawyer deeply experienced in balancing business needs with legal compliance & generating strategic solutions. Heather focuses on risk management & mitigation, managing interdepartmental needs, & generating solutions tailored to ease the burden of legal’s business partners. They have a breadth of experience in conducting internal investigations, managing litigation, and all aspects of HR legal compliance, such as employee counseling, policy drafting, & DEI training. Heather also enjoys painting with watercolors, reading tarot cards, and playing Dungeons and Dragons, among other nerdy pursuits.

 

Teri Bouchard Bio:

Teri Bouchard is a member of Axiom’s internal in-house team, where she serves as the Vice President, Senior Counsel, Employment. She is also the acting General Counsel of Axiom Advice & Counsel, an Arizona located law firm. Axiom and Axiom Advice & Counsel are where in-house legal teams go to find the right talent for everything from routine in-house tasks to complex outside counsel work. As Axiom’s Employment Counsel, Teri advises and supports her business partners across the globe on all types of employment matters, as well as practice of law and ethics matters. Teri has over a decade of experience litigating and providing counsel to corporate clients on all employment matters.

Prior to joining Axiom’s in-house team, three and a half years ago, Teri was Employment Counsel for a nationwide flooring retailer. And, before that, she was an Associate in the employment groups of AmLaw firms and an L&E boutique. Teri first took an interest in Employment law while obtaining her J.D. at New York University, School of Law. Her passion for people (and the drama they create in the workplace) has sustained that interest.
