Event Description

The first few months of the new presidential administration have ushered in significant shifts in employment law, from Executive Orders to evolving enforcement priorities and changes in administrative agency leadership. Employers must stay ahead of these rapid developments to remain compliant and mitigate legal risks. With increased scrutiny on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and new executive mandates impacting workplace policies, understanding the evolving landscape is more critical than ever.

Join us on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 12:30pm ET / 9:30am PT as Amanda Fugazy, Steve Nevolis, and Caitlin Breen of Ellenoff, Grossman & Schole provide a mid-year review of key employment law changes under the new administration and what they mean for employers.

Discussion Topics Include:

  • The Legal Impact of Recent Executive Orders: A breakdown of EO 14173 (“Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity”) and EO 14168 (“Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing”).
  • The Evolving Role of Administrative Agencies: What shifting leadership and priorities mean for employment law enforcement.
  • Heightened Scrutiny of DEI Initiatives: The impact of new policies on diversity programs in both the public and private sectors.
