Ashlyn Donohue, Sr. Director, Legal, LinkSquares

Ashlyn made a contract with herself that she was going to be an attorney who solved business problems, no matter how her path down the mountain looked. Today, she is the Director of Legal at Boston-based legal tech startup LinkSquares, front and center as “customer zero” helping the company solve legal, business, and product challenges on the daily. It takes drive, intentionality, and experience to help scale a growing startup’s legal team while also advising on its product strategy.

From Best Practices to Breakthroughs: Change Leadership for CLM Success

-

Event Description

Contract lifecycle management isn’t just a workflow—it’s a change initiative. Without a clear purpose, stakeholder alignment, and an adoption plan, even strong CLM tools underperform. This session shows in-house legal leaders how to connect CLM to business outcomes, secure buy-in across functions, and build an iterative program that actually sticks.

Join us on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 3:00 PM ET / 12:00 PM PT as Ashlyn Donohue (Sr. Director, Legal, LinkSquares), Katherine Nagel (Assistant General Counsel, Accession Risk Management Group), and Alyssa Verzino (Director, Customer Marketing, LinkSquares) share practical strategies to define your “why,” structure the rollout, and drive lasting adoption.

Key Takeaways

  • Define your “why.” Tie CLM goals to revenue, risk, and cycle-time metrics—and set measurable success criteria.
  • What to build first. Prioritize use cases, templates, and clause governance to avoid sprawl and rework.
  • How to drive adoption. Stakeholder mapping, enablement, and change communications that make new behaviors stick.
  • Sustain and scale. Operating cadences, dashboards, and feedback loops that keep CLM improving post–go-live.

Who Should Attend
