Adam Gershenson

Adam is co-chair of Cooley’s issues & appeals practice group, a leader of the firm’s artificial intelligence (AI) task force, and a trusted adviser on national and international trade secret disputes. He has successfully led high-stakes trade secret litigations in courts across the United States. Plus, Adam has designed programs to protect the most valuable confidential information of some of the world’s most sophisticated companies. Steve Smith

Steve is chair of Cooley’s nationally recognized intellectual property litigation practice, which was named a finalist for The American Lawyer’s IP Litigation Department of the Year in 2023. He is a top-tier first-chair trial lawyer who has tried complex technology cases for some of the US biggest companies in federal courts nationwide, as well as before the US International Trade Commission (USITC) and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Steve has deep understanding of patents, trade secrets and technology-related issues, and he has been described as “one of the most knowledgeable and experienced patent litigators on the market.”

 

Amanda Main

Amanda Main represents clients in a wide variety of complex business disputes, including contract disputes, trade secret disputes and copyright and trademark infringement matters. She also conducts internal investigations and represents clients in securities litigation and in Securities and Exchange Commission and other government investigations.
