Event Description

Is your legal team consistently called in only after ideas have fully formed or when there’s already a crisis? If you’re hearing phrases like “black box”, “department of ‘no’” or “department of slow” used to describe legal, you’re not alone. Many in-house legal teams have a serious marketing problem, and it’s costing them credibility, resources, and career advancement opportunities.

This webinar will explore how you can position yourself and your team as strategic business partners (not just problem-solvers), because your value goes far beyond just legal expertise. You know it, we know it … and now’s the time for everyone else to know it.

Join two powerhouse legal leaders who’ve cracked the code on transforming legal from cost center to value creator:

  • Penny Tehrani-Littrell – Managing Director & General Counsel at Accordion, commercially-minded in-house legal leader who’s mastered the art of “thinking like an owner” and speaking the language of business growth.

  • Kathy Zhu – Former DoorDash AGC, Head of Commercial Legal who supported the company’s growth from 2,000 to almost 15,000 employees. Kathy led with a mission-first approach, creating a brand for her team that was centered around delighting business partners, accelerating outcomes, and operational efficiency. She ultimately co-founded Streamline AI to address the biggest pain point she faced during her 10+ years of legal practice.

You’ll learn:

  • How to make the mindset shift from the “risk guardian” to a “business owner”

  • Vocabulary changes that transform perceptions about legal and separate order-takers from strategic advisors

  • Why your personal brand directly impacts your team’s resources

  • How to build trust with business partners

  • How to position yourself as someone known for helping to land deals, not just review them

Register now and transform how your organization perceives legal, and start being the legal team known for driving growth.
