Cecilia Ziniti
Cecilia is the founder and CEO of a legal AI company, GC AI, which she built based on her experience as a 3-time general counsel and AI expert. For two decades, Ms. Ziniti has driven product and company success across major tech shifts and turned early technologies into iconic products that millions of people use every day.
As a three-time executive team member for venture-backed tech companies, including software unicorn Replit, Ms. Ziniti has led all aspects of operations for hypergrowth. She has architected and closed partnerships with blue-chip companies like Google and Amazon and quarterbacked $300M+ in venture capital rounds from top-tier investors like Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, Index, and JP Morgan.
As the founding lawyer on Amazon Alexa and an early team member at Cruise, Ms. Ziniti understands tech adoption and how to earn public and regulator trust. Ms. Ziniti’s strategic insights make her sought-after by founders and have earned her global media appearances including on CNN and NPR.
Previously, Ms. Ziniti was an intellectual property litigator and technology transactions attorney and represented Apple at Morrison & Forester, an Am Law 20 firm. Ms. Ziniti is an inventor on four US patents. She has invested in and advises dozens of breakout and unicorn companies, including Replit, Instrumental AI, and Seek AI. Her first tech job was as on online community moderator in London.
Jennee DeVore
Jennee is a legal executive with over two decades of experience in the life sciences industry, specializing in launching innovative healthcare products. She is passionate about global market launches, legal leadership, compliance programming, and effective corporate governance. Jennee is a legal executive and advisor for multiple companies, including serving as the VP of Legal at Inflammatix and General Counsel at Simple HealthKit, where she leads legal and compliance strategies.
Jennee is a recognized leader in the legal community, holding an executive board position on the SF Bay Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, and is the lead for the Fractional GC subgroup within the Women’s General Counsel Network. Additionally, her dedication to mentorship is evident through her roles as a HiPower Ring Leader, WIB-MAPS mentor for Women in Bio, a GC Career Coach for Ms. JD’s LaddHer Up program, and a Tech Edge JD mentor for Santa Clara Law.
Jennee holds a JD from Santa Clara Law and dual bachelor’s degrees in Integrative Biology and Legal Studies from UC Berkeley. She is a California-licensed attorney and CIPP/E certified.
As a working mom to three young kids, Jennee finds joy and balance throughout her day by leveraging AI tools to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.
Amy Guzman,
Amy has 20+ years of legal experience with both early stage and large public companies as a collaborative business partner building effective legal functions and processes, managing risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Amy is responsible for managing SOCi’s legal, privacy and compliance programs. Prior to SOCi, Amy was managing commercial counsel, building a legal team to support Lyft’s Business programs for Enterprise, Federal and State agencies, higher education, Healthcare, Non-Profit, and Social Enterprise customers and initiatives.
Amy also spent time at Axiom, Eightfold, Salesforce, and 8 years at two early-stage start-ups, and several years as an employment and executive compensation attorney. In addition to being an accomplished legal advisor,
Amy has more than 20 years in the fitness and wellness industry and presents on health and wellness in the legal profession. Amy has led yoga, meditation and journaling 30-60-90 day intensives and retreats.
